3rd Line Engineer
Location: King’s Lynn (Office based)
Position: 3rd Line Engineer
Salary: £30,000 - £45,000
Shift Rota: Monday to Friday
- Week 1: 7:30-16:15
- Week 2: 8:45-17:30
- (One Saturday a month): 9:00-13:00
My client, a leading Managed Service Provider space, who provide local businesses (both SME and corporate) with IT Support and Services are looking to recruit a 3rd Line Engineer
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Providing 2nd/3rd line IT Support to our customers
- Monitoring Customer's Infrastructure via RMM solution
- Following escalation procedures to ensure Service Level Agreements are met
- Managing customer issues through to closure
- Identifying recurring outages and trends
- Providing ongoing documentation and improvement of processes
- Assisting other engineers with problem resolution and training needs
- Leading customer IT projects
- Providing strategic IT advice
- Assisting with sales and support quotes
- Supporting and developing internal IT systems
- Supplier liaison
Essential Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years technical support experience
- CCNA / CCNP / CompTIA Network+
- Virtualisation VMWare/Hyper-V
- Azure installation experience
- Watchguard / UTM experience
- Windows OS/Server
- Microsoft Exchange
- Microsoft 365
- ITIL Framework Experience preferred
- Experience in working with ITSM ticket systems
- Understanding of priorities and SLAs
- RMM / PSA experience required
- Clean, UK driving license
Additional Qualifications:
It would also be advantageous if you have some existing qualifications such as CompTIA, MTA, MCP, MSCE, CCNA, etc.
